Developed in the early 70's, Candlewood Lake Association is a private, member operated corporation. At the heart of our community is a man-made, 250 acre lake utilized for all types of recreation.

Whether you enjoy an active or relaxing lifestyle, Candlewood offers plenty to do. With facilities throughout the development, your favorite activities are only a few minutes away. 

Among the 25 acres of park area, beautiful surroundings offer relaxing walks, family picnics, a quiet place to read a book or a place to sit and watch nature.

Outdoor sports are also a favorite at Candlewood. The most popular lake activities include boating, fishing, swimming and water skiing. Off the lake, you can enjoy bike riding, playing tennis, basketball or digging a spike out of the sand while playing volleyball. Regardless of what you prefer, we have plenty to choose from.

The resort nature of the community provides units set aside for single family housing, mobile homes, recreational vehicles and temporary camping.
