Whether you enjoy an active or relaxing lifestyle, Candlewood offers plenty to do. With facilities throughout the development, your favorite activities are only a few minutes away. 

Among the 25 acres of park area, beautiful surroundings offer relaxing walks, family picnics, a quiet place to read a book or a place to sit and watch nature.

Outdoor sports are also a favorite at Candlewood. The most popular lake activities include boating, fishing, swimming and water skiing. Off the lake, you can enjoy bike riding, tennis, basketball or digging a spike out of the sand while playing volleyball. Regardless of what you prefer, we have plenty to choose from.

Kids especially enjoy our new playground installed in 2005 next to the beach and sand volleyball court. Complete with "spring" animals, the playground is a magnet for small children with a surrounding park like area for the parents to sit and keep an eye on the kids.

The lake is easily accessable using either the north or the south boat launch ramp. Rental docks are also available for those that don't own lakefront property. Whether you live here full time or utilize the lake for a weekend getaway, we know you will enjoy what we have to offer.

Special events are a favorite at Candlewood with the July 4th fireworks being known as the best display in the county. The professional fireworks display is set off over the lake with thousands of spectators watching by land and from boats on the lake.
